Please identify software programs for business contact management that
meet the following criteria:
1) Automatically links to contacts e-mail that is sent and e-mail that
is received. Linkage is by one or more e-mail addresses.
2) Can efficiently link to respective contacts e-mail that already
exists in Microsoft Outlook (2002). The procedure is no more complex
than selecting all e-mail or all e-mail folders and invoking the
command.
3) Links contacts to tasks, and the latter can be viewed as a list or
within contacts records.
4) Fully integrated with Outlook, preferably, and possibly an Outlook
add-in.
5) Runs on Windows XP
6) Costs under $200.
Please note: software that I have already considered and that lack one
of these points or another (and so do not constitute an answer) are:
ACT
Goldmine - many good points, but not my choice.
Outlook 2003 with Business Contact Manager - not out yet, but do not
much like the beta.
MX Contact - seems to meet all of the criteria on paper, but
manufacturer is not addressing installation problems.
Outlook CRM - not fully automated in the linking process, but seems to
have redeeming qualities. Price is higher. |
