Howdy donphiltrodt!
I agree with you that a local university, especially a medical
school, might be your best, if not less expensive route.
You can get individual articles from any of the 4 issues that are
part of Volume 47 of "Pharmacology Biochemistry and Behavior" for
$30.00 an article through the Science Direct web site.
http://www.sciencedirect.com/
You will need to register first, by clicking on the Register link
at the top (to the right) of the page. Make sure to write down
the username they will assign you as well as the password that you
choose for yourself for later in this process.
Once you are done with that short process, you can go directly to
the page dealing with "Pharmacology Biochemistry and Behavior".
http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/journal/00913057
- Scroll down to and click on: Volume 47
- Click on the issue number to look at the contents
- Scroll through the article listings to find the article desired
- The article's abstract and/or references can be viewed at no charge
- Select the PDF of the article that you want to view
- You will have to logon to be able to purchase the article you chose
- You can then input a credit card number, etc. for the purchase
- The PDF will then be viewable for 24 hours for your use
The above article will be in Adobe Acrobat format (PDF) format. If you
do not have the free Adobe Acrobat Reader you can download it at:

Prompted by tehuti-ga's Comment (Thanks!) I gave Elsevier (the
publisher) a call and unfortunately they only have back issues from
1995 (Volume 47 was published in 1994) on.
