Hello and good day to you, I have a question about my website
http://pricemarte.com/
I used to receive quite a number of hits from Google in the early days
of my store, however a few months back all my Google hits just stop
cold, I am not an expert and I know for sure I did not intentionally
anything to cause this, can someone tell me what I did wrong or what I
need to do right?
Thanks much.

Hi there,

As far as I can tell, Google has noticed how similar your site is to a
few others, and has decided to penalize it.

Google says:

"Don't create multiple pages, subdomains, or domains with
substantially duplicate content."

These sites are all very similar. Even the contact details are the
same.

pricemarte.com
homestore3.com
eggshop.net
fedderhead.com
personalbargains.com
eggshoppe.com

As well as the contact pages, these pages could be giveaways:
http://fedderhead.com/ind.html
http://pricemarte.com/pricemart/ind.html
http://eggshop.net/ind.html
http://fedderhead.com/ind.html
http://personalbargains.com/ind.html
http://eggshoppe.com/ind.html

Each has a different mix of products, and I doubt that the
similarities were enough on their own to be a problem. The other five
sites have links pointing to them, whereas pricemarte.com does not.
Google's software probably thought, hmmm, it's very similar to all
those other sites, plus nobody is linking to it, so it looks like an
attempt to trick us.

To see who links to each site, enter a URL in the search box at
AlltheWeb
http://alltheweb.com

Remedy
------

If you want to have multiple sites, with the almost same content, you
really need to:

1) Avoid linking them to each other
2) Use different contact details within each site
3) Use different web hosts
4) Register the domain under different names

In general, if your other sites are using reciprocal linking schemes,
I'd stop before Google notices.

Best wishes,
