Ok... maybe this is the best question for here... but.. here we go. I am looking for good giveaways for my members of my website. I would like to give them a free vacation voucher. Even if its just a couple hotel nights stay although i would like the best possible for them. I dont want it to be one of those time share crap. I dont mind paying up to $10 per.... and i understand the people receiving will have to pay taxes on the room etc. However, I see some scams that are "all you pay is taxes and service fee of $65/night". Well... they sell their rooms for $65 a night... so how is that a deal? Anyways, bottom line. Where is the best place i can buy these vouchers from that the end users gets the best experience and I dont break my wallet. Preferred places: NY Orlando FL Vegas thanks guys!! |

I do not think you are going to find hotels that will offer a voucher for a couple nights for $10. Maybe you could give out gift certificates to restaurants instead. |

Vacation vouchers assume that the recipients will want to go to the places specified, which might not be the case. Also, they might involve restrictions on dates and times of travel, which could make it impossible for some people to take up the offer. Finally, there are people who, for health or family reasons, cannot travel. I for one would be far more thrilled to receive an Amazon voucher than a holiday voucher. |

yes, however... the idea is to make it look like they are getting something more valuable ;) its just the gesture... if they cannot use the trip... thats fine :) |

Ah, but then if there was a choice of two web sites with things on offer, I would patronise the one that gave me the book vouchers, even if the value was less, because I would get something I could use to get something I really want. There I would feel I was getting something valuable, whereas the holiday vouchers would be thrown away with a snarl of disgust. I always think the "free holiday" deals must be a scam and would not dream of signing up for such an arrangement. Moreover, the destinations you cite are perhaps the nearest equivalents to hell on earth as far as my personal tastes in holiday destinations go!!! Perhaps you should think about giving your patrons a choice of rewards. That way, you might expect to satisfy more of them. |
