In June my wife and I are going to travel to Colorado to attend a
friends wedding, we'll be there . We then will travel to Belize to see
the sights for about a week. Then finish in Vegas. Normally I have
time to search out our own vacation hotspots but I've been busy.

I like gambling BJ/Poker/Craps, food, photography (video) relaxation
and History. My wife likes sleeping in, food, relaxation and
Photography (still). We both are fine ballroom dancers and like to
people watch. I am a college teacher, she is an art director.

Could you go after answering three key questions regarding this
vacation?

1). In Colorado, we want to see Photographic Indian sites. What else
South of Denver is worth checking out? Colorado is wide open to
suggestion(s), as her friend's suggestions are BORING! (and she's the
honeymooner)

2). Belize is a 1/2 business trip, 1/2 play trip. What cruise ships
travel this direction and what sort of sites are to be seen in Belize?
What is the number one cool attraction? We are going to have to
consider travel safety as well.

3). We are both Vegas people. What are some historical sites? We
normally stay downtown (but don't need to) and we like to eat at the
really nice places. Any secrets we may not have discovered would be
awesome. Also any unusual activities will be welcomed, get wild, your
uniqueness is desired. No answer will be turned away!

Of course the links to this information is good, good, good!

Hello ykedoodl,

Your trip sounds marvelous. I wish you and you wife the best.

1). In Colorado: It may be farther than you want to go, but Mesa
Verde National Park is a wonderful park to visit
(http://www.visitmesaverde.com/). It is a 435 miles drive. But, it
is a marvelous site of Native American archaeology and it also takes
you very close to Great Sand Dunes National Monument and Preserve
(http://www.nps.gov/grsa/). Great Sand Dunes is an impressive and
very strange site of natural beauty.

There is the Ute Museum in Montrose. But, Montrose is over 300 miles
from Denver.

The following site may be of interest to you.

2). Belize: I have included some web sites here of general Belize
touring as well as some cruise sites. It seems the places not to miss
in Belize are the barrier reefs, the islands and the atolls. But,
also, in the Maya Mountains are cave systems with Mayan remains.
There are also ancient Mayan Cities rising out of the forests.

3). Las Vegas: It doesn’t sound like there is much you haven’t seen
around Las Vegas. However, I did find these web sites that might have
something new for you. I hope you find something here that you like.
