I should also add the the word "WEALD" means "wild" so it is not
likley that any place would have been called "Wild on the Moors". It
would likely have been "'Something' upon the Wild (Weald) Moors".

Ah! It's Eaton-upon-the-Weald Moors, I suspect. Eaton is the family
name I'm snooping into.
