In the film "The Name of the Rose", there’s a crucifixion scene where
the hunchback, as the cross is getting burned, starts singing this
foreign song.

The song does not appear to be on the soundtrack album.

What’s the name of this song, and where can I get a copy?

Just in case this helps someone along (although I doubt it will :)
From IMDB:
http://us.imdb.com/Title?0091605
The hunchback's name is Salvatore.
The actor's name is Ron Perlman: http://us.imdb.com/Name?Perlman,%20Ron

That's a tough question. Good luck on this one.

I have just asked a question similar to yours on where I can get hold
of music from a film but looking at your question and similar
questions without replies it appears it is not easy to track down old
deleted music and related material. Ceratinly it apperts you will not
get an answer as it shows that your question only has 17 hours left
before expiration??

Good luck anyway; or have a look at mine which you may know the
anwser to.
