I am experiencing a problem with a ColdFusion query in relation to a
mySQL database. Because this is a problem that would best be resolved
by the helper viewing the specific pages/database in question, I am
going to provide a brief synopsis below and then request that the
helper contact me directly to recieve the pages in question to best
answer the question. The price is set at $25 because it believe it to
be an easy question to answer. Here is the snyopsis, please contact me
if you require the pages for additional help.

The problem is with a vendor information website. in the admin
section, a person can enter a new vendor's info, and select up to 4
categories associated with the vendor. the data then goes to 3 tables
in the DB- 1, the vendor table stores the vendor info, and 2, the
categoryID and vendorID go into a CATEGORY_INDEX table. Now, the
problem is, when enterering a new category into the 'category' table
via the admin section, that new category can not be associated with a
vendor's info. for example, upon creating the new category 'deli' and
then going into the edit a vendor page, the user can select 'deli'
from a list of categories, but then, somehow the category 'deli' does
not display in relation to the vendor they just associated it with.

again, this is a problem that is difficult to explain but i think is
very easy to fix. please contact me with any interest in seriously
solving this issuse with me and i will provide related pages/info to
help the decision.
