How can I make my Win 98 computer reboot itself automatically every 24-48 hours? This computer runs 24/7 to manage a Satellite search program but slowly fills a buffer that interferes with its function after a few days. Rebooting clears the buffer. I can automatically reload the app after a reboot. |

Hello! I've found a free program that performs exactly what you want to do. Follow this link YaSoft | Switch Off http://yasoft.km.ru/eng/switchoff/ I've tried it, it should work just fine. Otherwise, you can also try this one PowerOff 3.0 http://www.softnews.ro/public/cat/13/7/13-7-35.shtml It's also freeware. Furthermore, for $10 you can register the following shareware program (although it does exactly the same as the previous ones) Power Control Center 1.7 http://download.com.com/3000-2094-10131683.html?tag=lst-4-10 Finally, you may want to check the list of "Launchers & Shutdown Tools" program list at Download.com. Some of the software in this list do what you need. Launchers & Shutdown Tools http://download.com.com/3150-2344-0.html?tag=stbc.gp I hope this helps! Let me know if you need further assistance with this question by requesting a clarification, otherwise I await your final rating and comments. Best wishes, elmarto |
