I am looking to buy a house, but just graduated college and have
limited funds for a down payment.  Are there grants, or programs
available to help young, first time buyers?  I went to www.hud.gov but
could not find anything too helpful other than basic terminology.  I
am also familiar with sony mae (not sure of spelling) which would
allow me to put less down.  What are the qualifications of that
program?  Is there anything else????  I'm looking to buy in suffolk
county, long island (unfortunately!)
