hi jafer,
I believe you you can convert Binhex text to ASCII using "BBEdit". If
you open the file, or paste the code into a document, and then go to
"Tools" in the menu you should be able to select the option "Convert
to ASCII".

If you have ASCII files that have been binhexed, and you want to
"un-binhex" them back into ASCII, I believe you will find this utility
useful.  It works with Windows, Mac, Linux, and Solaris operating
systems.

If that is the project you want to complete, please let me know, and I
will post it as an answer.

This utility is intended for the Unix-Gnu-Linux environment.
Would be better to have a filter.
