Hello baruchmaoz: Thanks for the interesting question. There are many, many online tutorials regarding Powerpoint 2000. I have been able to find the following online tutorials for you that have sections explaining how to adjust the automated timing between slides in Powerpoint 2000. Going from one slide to another is referred to as "Transition". The particular trick of waiting a certain time between slides is called an "Advance". I have also given links to the "main" pages for these tutorials, when needed. They contain much information about other aspects of this program. Slide Transitions URL: http://gethelp.library.upenn.edu/workshops/biomed/ppt/animation.html#trans Using Transitions URL: http://www.iupui.edu/~webtrain/tutorials/powerpoint2000_basics.html#transitions Advanced to a New Slide without a Mouse Click URL: http://www.mrpowell.net/powerpoint/newslidenomouse.htm Complete Tutorial: http://www.mrpowell.net/powerpoint/pp.htm Adding a Transition URL: http://thorup.com/MTSU/slidetransitions.html Complete Tutorial: http://thorup.com/MTSU/basic.html I hope this information helps with your research. If you need any clarification of the information I have provided, please ask using the clarification feature and provide me with additional details as to what you are looking for. As well, please allow me to provide you with clarification(s) *before* you rate this answer.
