Is anyone aware of any similarities between the type of paper used for
Birth Certificates and that used for Banker's Notes? (Or any other
similarities, for that matter?)

Hello quater-ga,

Indeed, the type of paper used for birth certificates and that used
for bank notes is often the same.  Birth certificates and certified
copies of birth certificates are issued in many jurisdictions on
banknote paper.
