What is the purpose of 'nude beauty pageants'?

  First, many would question the purpose of
  any kind of beauty pageant.  You might recall

  Still, beauty pageants have been around

  Nude beauty pageants are simply one format
  of the pageant.  Their "purpose" depends on 
  your opinion on beauty pageants in general.
  In any case, they allow some people to judge
  a group of women in part on how "good" they
  look nude.

Dogbite-ga  you  said in your statement that nude beauty  pageants 
allow some people to judge   a group of women in part on how "good"
they  look  nude,  I  agree with your statement  but  I want  to  know
 that   is  their  any  other purpose  also  for  nude  beauty 
pageants  beside  the  purpose  of  earning  money?  Thanks.

  I think the purposes of nude beauty
  pageants are nearly the same as the
  purposes of non-nude (some might say
  nearly-nude) beauty pageants.

  The purposes include:

    - providing entertainment for the judges,
      audience and participents.
    - providing a medium for competition
      between participents
    - a forum for release or expression
      of both sexual and non-sexual desires.

My guess would be that they were created to enhance the visual
enjoyment of a spectator.

Or to make somebody some money.

Purpose of organizer: make money
Purpose of contestant: make money, and if they do well, earn more
money when they work in stripclubs
Purpose of audience: drink beer, stare and make loud lewd comments

Well, that's how it is in Australia. It might be a bit different in
Pakistan.

Like in any beauty contest, the main purpose is to clean the world,
feed the hungry and stop wars. That is at least what the contestants
claim.

I think the purpose of nude beauty pageants is to provide fodder for
shoaib-ga's odd questions.

This may also be the purpose of various financial agencies which offer
loans. ;)
