I went to a seminar a few years back, where the opening speaker talked
about a Hyundai dealership that was supposedly the best in Australia,
perhaps the world.

He said that people were prepared to drive for hours to do business
with this particular dealership, because they had a reputation for
such great service. The dealership apparently made more than twice as
much as its competitors.

One example he gave of their service was that the buyer would receive,
every year, on the date that the car was bought, a birthday card for
the car along with discount vouchers for detailing, auto products,
stuff like that.

I was wondering whether such a dealership actually existed, or if the
speaker was just full of crap.

If the dealership does exist, then there must be some information
about how it got to be so successful.

Where is it, what does it do, and how does it do it so well?
