Ive had my teeth whitened using the special bleach from my dentist, and Im looking at getting Invisalign braces to straighten them out. I want to know what other ways there are of improving your smile. For example, are there exercises that can be done to improve facial aesthetics? Are there non-surgical ways of changing the contours of the face? Is there a method of widening the mouth? Im not the type to read beauty magazines, as theyre usually aimed at women. In our image-obsessed society, however, there must be some methods out there. What are they? |

Hello markabe-ga, I asked my friend, who is an orthodontist, and this is what he said: 1) The main components of your smile are your teeth and gums. White, straight teeth are always in vogue. Whitening products and braces will certainly help that. 2) The auxillary smile components are your lips and facial muscles. Lip balms will help you keep healthy, unchapped lips. Also, like any muscle on your body, it is possible to exercise your facial muscles. Two products that he has seen (and will only endorse in general, but not specifically) are: http://www.biof.com/onlinestore/facialflex.asp - you place it in the corners of your mouth and flex http://www.flexeffect.com/ - another facial exercise program. My friend also said happiness always brightens anybody's smile! :-) I hope that helps you. dogbite-ga P.S. Please don't be afraid to tip your researcher. | |
