I need information on the FOOD PROCESSING MACHINERY industry (SIC
3556, NAICS 333294). 

The information I need includes the top 5 (+-2 as appropriate)
manufacturers in terms of *global* sales or production or some other
logical measurement.  I also need sources for some (at least 2-3)
economic indicators that are updated *monthly* or at least *quarterly* and
available to the public that show the health or status of the FOOD
PROCESSING industry. (For example, this might include a source for a monthly
report on the # of units produced, or sales data for the industry, or
an indicator that affects a related group like the industry's
customers, etc.) The information can come from any reputable source
including government, trade association, industry publication, major
company's web site, etc.

If you are unsure of whether a certain indicator will work, please ask
for clarification.

I don't need to be taught about the industry or need any background
information - just the 2 things I have asked for: 1. top companies &
2. sources for monthly or quarterly updated and publicy available
industry economic indicators.

We are willing to subscribe to a magazine to get information. I do
want to mention though that we typically subscribe to the major trade
magazines for the industries we are looking at, so we might already
have it, depending on what you are referring to. What part of the
question do you plan to answer with a source from a magazine?
