Journalist--

Despite your protests, please ALLOW me to give you a little money.
It's a little! And don't worry, it's not coming out of my own
personal pocket.

About the scriptwriting program. Let me get back to YOU. I don't
use it because I do two column audio /video script format and haven't
been able to find anything EASY, so I just hit the tab keys a lot like
a real amateur. But I do know people who know the best stuff.
Are you using a Mac or PC? There. Answer that and you get your $$.

Okay, okay, okay. My father has always said that when someone offers
three times, it's time to show them honor and accept. Counting here
and the other question, I've exceeded my protestation quota. :)

A PC.

Oh, good, I'm glad you got the schedule. They just added another play
-- creditless version, alas -- tomorrow, 5/24 at 7:30 pm. Yes, you
will enjoy seeing your name in lights...er...fonts. Actually, I
believe your font is called "Interstate," as I recall.

OK, well done! Now re screenplay formatting. My friend has used Final
Draft for years. I just checked writerstore.com (screenwriter's
website). They're plugging Final Draft Version 6, top of the line.
And -- thanks to you -- I discovered they now have Final Draft for A/V
two column scripts! So I'm going to buy a copy right now! Final Draft
seems to be the industry standard. Read more about the versions and
you can download a free demo of the newer versions at finaldraft.com

Kind, kind, kind; that's what you are! Forget all those stories I've
heard about slimey, smarmy, plagiaristic, backstabbin' "artsy people"
- you have proven wrong that archetype once and for all. :)

However, I said what I meant on Pink's Q: "I require no compensation
for helping my friend..." Winning a contest: Cool. Winning the
lottery: Excellent. Winning the ability to assist a friend in need:
Priceless.

Plus, (and you better sit down before you read on), I am probably the
only person in America who has never seen even one ep of American
Idol. Eeek!

However, I'm not above seeking information from you. ;) If you have
time (Goddess knows, all you do all day is twiddle your thumbs), would
you answer the following:

What formatting software, if any, do scriptwriters prefer and is it
available for public purchase? I'm currently using Final Draft.

Thank you for your rating and comments! And, thanx for the info. I'm
delighted you found a two-column program there, too, and I'll check it
out as well.

Thanx so much for the schedule! Pink passed it on and I hope to be
able to see one with the credits. What a "pseudonymous" rush!
