I am looking for the costs and margins on various active ingredients
in anti-corrosive coatings in order to breakdown the differences
between $10/gal and $.10/gal coatings. I already know that products
like Zinc Dust, Zinc Cromate and Strontium Chromate are used but I
want a more complete list along with pricing/margins if possible.

coating with corrosion inhibitors. VOC content  <10 gr/ltr.

"91% solids linseed oil based coating with iron oxide and other
ingredients that help it gain superior penetration and adhesion to
ferrous metal roofing products. Max. VOC content 150 gr/ltr, 1.2
lbs/gal.

SHOWER-PROOF is an 82% solids, long oil alkyd resin based coating,
also containing linseed oil and iron oxide that displays excellent
weathering and better gloss retention.  VOC 240 gr/ltr, 2.0 lbs/gal."
