In the last ten years brands of carpet have probably changed the names
of certain color selections and renamed them. I am trying to locate
two carpet selections based on color names alone. In the first half of
the nineties a carpet store in Kettering Ohio -Wholesale Carpet on
Shroyer Blvd. run by the Frost family was the preferred location for
carpet by a family member who was in the construction business. The
store went out of business. I had a business card from the business
and contacted the salesman who referred me to their old secretary's
new carpet business. I was disappointed wih the carpet selection she
had and with her knowledge of the old product lines they used to
carry. There is a senior member of the Frost family "Pappy" about 80
years old who probably owned the first store. Before I find a way
across  town (I don't drive) I would like to know what specifically I
am searching for that could possibly be available today. So, I need 
to know more about what I was interested in buying before.     Let me
describe the first carpet as reasonably priced possibly 100% nylon a
plush (not loop or sculptured)the color name was "Rasberry Fizz" the
color was a faded red shade that due to the fiber nylon the red was a
blended appearance not  a solid strong color but definitely one color
of yarn was used in the whole carpet. The shade of red was neither too
 violet like a "mauve "or too orange like a "brick" nor was it too
soft like a pink. I do not know the manufacturrer's name or the names
often carried by the store I shopped and no more information was
gotten on this topic.The carpet was displayed in the traditional
carpet style of 12 to 20 color selections to the specific carpet in
pieces stacked on a display. These were not viewed as rolls of carpet
remnant.  The second selection was viewed in the office area of the
carpet business in a phone book sized fold out sample book because he
type of carpet was a commercial grade of carpet. It was more dense and
the fiber colors were mixed. More than one color selection was viewed
in the sample book. I think  the carpet was named "International" or "
Internacional ". It also had  the plush top (not a berber or shag or
level loop) pile. The colors in this carpet swirled in an unregimented
way. The background or majority of the carpet was a off white-beige
color and a berry color and a teal color ; perhaps greys and other
blended tones gave a sophisticated appearance. Could I please have
some help in researching these old carpet selections? Is there any of
these carpets still being produced or available for sale?
