My girlfriend wants to build a house on property that is in her name
and her mothers name as joint ownership 50 - 50. There is a large
acreage involved and she wants to build on just 2- 3 acres. My
girlfriend will need to get a mortgage to finance the construction
loan and wants the
mortgage in her name and potentially mine a well. What is the process
to make this happen? Do we need to fill out a quitclaim form? Get a
surveyor involved? Both? Any help would be great.
