Lots of records aren't freely available on the Internet and this is one of them. The process for finding the legal owner is: Floette -- Lots of information isn't available freely on the Internet. Among the types of things that aren't available are property records. Some are in private databases but because of the use of legal descriptions, often they aren't available at all. Here's how you can find the owners for that period: 1. take the street address 2. go to the county recorder of deeds 3. use the street address to obtain a legal description of the property 4. with the legal description, you should be able to find the owner (and whether there are any lienholders) Best regards, Omnivorous-GA |

Greetings, floette! Affton, MO, is a subdivision of St. Louis, MO. You can probably get the information that you need from the City Assessor, although you may have to visit in person to get it: St Louis-City Of, Assessor, Real Estate Tax Records, (314) 622-3212, , Saint Louis, MO 63101 ://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=St+Louis+City+Assessor%2C+St+Louis%2C+MO&btnG=Google+Search Regards, aceresearcher |

I'm sorry I submitted the wrong address, it should have been 9936 Tesson Ferry Road, Affton, MO not 9851. This was my home for a short period of time, I am now in my eighties and all family members have passed away. I was just curious about the names on the deed since I never claimed anything from it nor do I intend to now. I just wanted to satisfy a long time curiousity to see if my name and my husband's was on the original deed since we originally sold our property to put money into it. I am the only one left now, so please do not think I'm trying to create a problem. I walked away from the property long ago. Thanks. |
