Hi, mystery1008-ga:

What software are you using that gives this error? It sounds like the
problem is an inability to resolve the IP address from a domain name,
a function often provided by DNS (domain name service) servers. In
some cases, esp. a local area network with private IP addresses, it
may be necessary to provide the hostname to IP conversion by "ad hoc"
methods, e.g. a HOSTS file on you local machine.

A description of the software being used and your machine & OS would
be helpful.

Microsoft XP is an operating system, presumably the one you are using
on your computer. My question was what software package (browser,
email, etc.) is giving the error.

I notice you have made a slight change in the error message, from:

AP_VERO_38446

to:

APP_VERO_38446

You might explain in more detail how this error message is displayed
on your computer. Is it in a pop-up window (dialog box)? Is it in
your computer log? Where and when do you see it?
