Question ID: 195827
I want to write a microroutine to implement two-operand fetch when the
addressing mode is indexed-indirect for the CISC computer. I also want
to provide an ASM-like chart (flowchart) that describes the
microroutine, the register transfer operations, and the micro
instructions for the routine.
Thank you.

Hi, khayaalah-ga:

Such an assignment presumes a defined CPU architecture, within which
microroutines are stored in ROM. What sort of assistance are you
asking for, and what architecture is given for this assignment?

Hi mathtalk
As I said I want to write a microroutine to implement two-operand
fetch when the addressing mode is indexed-indirect for the CISC
computer. I need to provide an ASM-like chart (flowchart) that
describe the microroutine. All what I can help you with to clarify the
question is that there is an example in the book "Logic and computer
design fundamentals, 2nd edition updated for M.Morris Mano" on Table
10-11 there is an example of two operand fetch routine. I have to get
my answer to look similar to this plus the ASM-like chart. Thank you.
P.S: I need help in this as soon as possible
