Hello,
I want to make my own CD insert cards for standard size jewel cases.
What software will let me print both across the card as well as down
the spine of the label?

Just to make sure: Do you mean you want to print CD covers or cd
labels for standard jewel cases? Is that what you mean by insert
cards?

I particularly want to print identifying information on the card that
fits in the back of a jewel case that also has printing along the edge
that can be read when the jewel case is on a shelf. Thank you.

Howdy jefftucson!

The CNET Download.com site has several programs that
you can check out. I went through their listings,
and these seem to be the least expensive ones that
will fill your needs. All are free to try, but some
might print "UNREGISTERED" across the print out until
they are registered. Some of the other CD insert
printing software at the Download.com site is free,
but might not do a very good job or be harder to use.
