I DESPERATELY NEED TO ACQUIRE PRINTER DRIVERS FOR THE SEIKO 5504 DYESUB PRINTER.

It would appear that the drivers available for that printer
were for Windows 3.1, as indicated on this page:

A search for the file listed on that page, 'seiko.exe', on
AllTheWeb's Ftp search, shows only 4 results, all for an 86KB
file dated 1998-08-18:

Looking into the contents of that file, there is a readme.wri
file which indicates that this 'seiko.exe' file is a collection
of PostScript Printer Description (PPD) files, rather than the
drivers for your printer.

Also, while Windows XP has a feature to allow you to run software
for previous versions of Windows, I'm not sure that Windows 3.1 is
among the possible versions which can be run.

The file CH5500.DRV is the driver for your printer but it is for
Windows 3.1, it should work with newer Windows versions as well. I am
not sure how to install this driver but if you download the zip file
(winsdl7.zip - 229.1K), it includes the readme.txt file for
instructions.

To peace_on_earth. I downloaded driver. I have not installed it yet
but I have seen the Seiko 5504 work on WIN 98 and WIN ME. Thank you
and I will let you know when I get system and hubs setup.  King
