There was an article I read a while ago about an elderly gentleman who
dropped his digital camera in a lake, and after drying it out and
taking pictures with it the resulting photos would come out looking
almost like streaky watercolor paintings. It was very cool and I want
to find that site and those pictures again. Can someone point me to
it?

Hi Mcgarnigle,

I found this this short description from Techstuff.ca about a man
named Farrel Eaves and his magic camera. Simply press the "Shift" key
before clicking on a link so it will open a new window or right-click
on the link and choose "Open in New Window" for your convenience.

Techstuff.ca -- Magic camera - don't try this at home!
"Last August, a man named Farrell Eaves accidentally dropped his Nikon
digital camera into a pond in New Mexico. After he dried it out, he
found that the camera was broken... in a most interesting way. Now he
calls it his magic camera."

I followed the two links below that deccription that leads to an
article and an image page:

Further search at Brucedale.com lead me to find --

Mr. Eaves and His Magic Camera

Click on Mr. Eaves' picture and it will open another page with email,
in case you're interested to contact him.

In case you want more articles and pictures about the man and his
camera, or in case the article described above is not the article that
you found, I'm sure you'll find it in the last link below.
