I'm curious to know what percentage of Congress is Jewish. Separate percentages of both Senate and House would be appreciated as well, if possible. Thanks. ed |

Dear esarkissian, Of the 435 Members of the House of Representatives, 26 are Jewish. This equals a percentage of 5.97701%. Of the 100 Senators, 11 are Jewish. This equals a percentage of 11%. The 108th Congress consists of a total of 535 Members, of which 37 are Jewish. This equals a percentage of 6.9158846%.
