Hi David,

This is a Javascript debugging window. A lot of scripts embedded in
webpages are poorly written, and either don't work, or half-work. This
window provides the errors generated by the script.

Anyway, to turn it off:
1. In Internet Explorer click "Tools" on the menu bar, then "Internet
Options".
2. Go to the "Advanced" tab, and look at the list of check boxes under
"Browsing".
3. You should have a tick in the box called "Display a notification
about every script error". Turn it off.
4. You may have to restart Internet Explorer to get this setting to
take.

Hope that fixes it!

Above the "Display a notification..." option is one for "Disable
script debugging". Make sure it's checked.
Also, if this doesn't do it, please let me know what options are
checked in the section further down headed "Java VM".

Thanks.

Can you clarify for me which options are checked now?
All the "Browsing" options?
And which options under "Java VM" further down the list? (There are
three checkboxes there.)

Also, please let me know what version of Internet Explorer you are
using.

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that the "notification" option is the key to this. I
can turn the popup window on and off using that checkbox, when
visiting the URL you quoted.
Within the popup is there a checkbox saying "Always display this
message when a page contains errors"? This does the same thing, turns
off the notification option.
