I encrypted a word document(created 12/2001 on ms office 2000) while
running a beta version of win xp on an ntfs 5.0 drive which was on a
seperate physical disk from my boot partition.

i formatted my main harddrive and installed latest version of xp
professional, tried accessing the document and get this message "Word
cannot open the document: user does not have access privilages"
Again, i have not backed up the certificate thumbprint and have no way
of retrieving the partition or cert thumbprint.

is there a way to access the document? if not now, is there a crack
on the way. i know L0pht crack (aka @stake) has cracked win2k and nt
password hashing and etc. Thanks
