Would you consider an online tutor?

There are many possible ways for you to find the tutor you need.
Below, I have listed some search results from the Australia yellow
pages online looking specifically in Melbourne. Is this the
information you are looking for? I have also sent out various emails
to different people who could possibly give me more specific names and
contact information for tutors there. Are you looking for a good
starting point (for example a list of companies that teach programming
in Melbourne) or specific individuals?

These links will get you started:

Companies offering computer training services in Melbourne:

Companies offering consulting services in Melbourne (good place to
find tutors):

Two specific companies that show up with an additional "programmer"
search:

If this answers your question "How or where can we find a JAVA coach
in Melbourne, Australia?", please let me know and I will officially
answer your question. Otherwise, please let me know what additional
information you would require.

Thanks,

The course is called "Advanced Diploma in Information Technology", it
is a 2 year course at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology -
Business Department. My son has successfully completed the first year
ie JAVA 1, but is having great trouble with JAVA 2.

Online coaching would not be our first choice, I would prefer person
to person coaching, (questions and clarification can be instant,
levels of understanding can be assessed more readily, examples shown).
If the potential coach/tutor lives some reasonable distance away this
would be more acceptable to me.

The Yellow pages is an avenue I have not explored, I will do so and
post a further clarification
