Hello, heif-ga! Note: In my answer, I use the term "AirPort". You should be aware that WiFi and AirPort are the same thing. 1) Your Apple G4 Cube will take an AirPort card - according to Apple's specifications on the machine, the G4 Cube supports an "Optional 11-Mbps AirPort Card [and is] IEEE 802.11 DSSS compliant". This means that you can purchase an AirPort card from Apple (US$79) and pop it into your Cube. This solution is recommended. 2) If, for some other reason, you cannot put in AirPort card internally into your G4 Cube, then you will need to use a third-party external solution. MacWorld has a good list here: http://www.macworld.com/2003/03/features/alternatives/ What you would want from this list are "USB Adapters", since your Cube does not have a "PC Card" or a PCI slot. The USB adapters that Macworld lists on the above page: MacWireless http://www.macwireless.com/html/products/80211b/usbadapter.html - This product supports Mac OS 9.0.4 to 9.2.2 only. OS X support is promised soon. Skyline USB Adapter http://www.proxim.com/products/all/skyline/pn474/index.html - This product supports Mac OS 9.0.4 to 9.2.2 and Windows. Hope this helps!! supermacman-ga Sources AppleCare Knowledge Database: G4 Cube specifications http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=43104 The Apple Store - you can purchase an original Apple AirPort Card here http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore/ Macworld - a list of third-party AirPort alternatives http://www.macworld.com/2003/03/features/alternatives/ |

you can't add wifi card to the inside of the cube. You can buy a USB Wifi adapter. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00005AW1H/qid=1051645594/br=2-5/ref=br_ts_slwth_th_5//002-5025438-5723242?v=glance&s=electronics&n=3343891 You can connect to the USB and you will be on the network. |

Careful there, the USB adapter you mention isn't Mac compatible. There are external devices that will work, but why? All Cubes have built-in antennae and will accept an internal Apple Airport card, which is standard 802.11b "WiFi". |
