I'm interested in researching your question for you, but it would help
to have a bit more information about what you need.

"In the News" is a specialty laminating and engraving business that
has its own, in-house, massive library of newspapers and magazines,
and will custom-laminate for people who wish to have articles (usually
about themselves) preserved by lamination.

There are hundreds of other companies that do specialty lamination and
engraving.  But I'm not aware of any others that operate along the
same lines as "In the News", with their own in-house library, and a
sales team that reaches out to people who have recently been -- well
-- in the news.  Perhaps, with a deeper search, I might come up with
one or two others.  I doubt there are 20.

Is your interest primarily in the laminating end of the business?  If
so, your question is readily answerable.

But if you're looking for specifics of the
library-laminating-engraving-sales "industry" with operations similar
to "In the News", there may not be much else out there but for this
one company, who appears to occupy a very special niche.

Please clarify what type of response would constitute an acceptable
answer to your question, so that I -- or another researcher -- can
best meet your needs.

I am primarily interested in the specialty laminating and engraving

magazines.  I would agree there are not many of these.  I would like
research on any others if available, and then fill in the balance of
the 20 with Wholesalers that produce the plaques or laminatings in
mass quanties.

Thanks for the follow-up information.  I think I'm going to have to
beg off this question.  After a fairly comprehensive search, I don't
find much information about the business operations of In the News,
Inc. (other than what's on their web site, which is actually more
informative than most).  Nor are there any direct competitors to speak
of.

In the absence of concrete information, I'd be hard pressed to offer a
useful answer.  Perhaps another researcher will have better luck.

same service at In The News, i.e. an extensive library.  I looked for
competitors of In the News by searching for directories where In The
News is listed.  In addition I performed searches looking for their
type of service. The closest type of company is those that supply
birthday newspapers (see additional links).  There are however a
number of companies that supply custom made laminated plaques in
