Hello wakomba-ga and thank you for your question.

One pound of quarters is worth $20.00.

The Federal Reserve Bank Of Minneapolis redemption rates for sorted
coins are: Dimes, Quarters, Halves, Eisenhower Dollars - $20 per pound
http://minneapolisfed.org/frfs/cash/cash_svc_guide.pdf

According to Gérard P. Michon, Ph.D. - Trivia page, $20 per pound is
the current standard for dimes and quarters (since 1965) as well as
half-dollars (since 1971).

The Oklahoma State University - Department of Chemistry illustrates
that one pound of quarters are worth $19.90 or $19.75 in quarters
using the following calculation:

1 lb      =  454 g
1 dollar  =  4 quarters
1 quarter =  5.70 g

1 lb  X  454g  X  1 quarter  X  1 dollar     = 19.9
         1 lb      5.70 g       4 quarters

(actual would be $19.75 in quarters)
