I need an example of a Proctor and Gamble (or like) product plan or
launch document.  These are traditionally very dense 2 page documents
with exhibits attached.  Alternatively, any resource that would coach
someone on how to write one of these documents.  There are many
general resources out there, but nothing specific to the "P&G" way of
thinking and writing a product plan. I suppose there are other
companies besides P&G that would be comparable, and would also be open
to those.  Thanks for your help!

I can give you some great Harvard Business Review case study lists
(one of the follow-up studies is event a video tape with the product
manager, post-launch).  Are you indicating that you'd like to get a
list of them?

There are some analyses on the web of HBR cases, though the quality of
those is uneven.

Sorry but not unless the case study has an example of a document
within it - and I'm fairly sure that HBR case studies do not have such
examples.  They are mostly just descriptions about the situation and
how it was solved.

I've been in marketing for 25 years and have never seen a company
product plan from P&G.  Initially they'd be considered "company
confidential" and I doubt that they ever escape that status.

However, there are a large number of Harvard Business Review cases for
P&G product launches.  Many even include follow up studies done after
the launch.

Thanks.  As I said, anything approximating it would do the trick.  But
it must be to this high standard.
