We have several sites that use Microsoft Commerce Server 3.0 on
Windows 2000 Server. It was recently setup after another server
running it crashed. Everything appeared to be running properly, but
then clients started complaining that they were getting less orders,
yet their merchant accounts were receiving funds of orders that didn't
show up in their management screens, thus some step of the "pipeline"
appeared to be breaking. The error that shows up in the event viewer
is:

The description for Event ID ( 12293 ) in Source ( Microsoft Site
Server 3.0 ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the
necessary registry information or message DLL files to display
messages from a remote computer. The following information is part of
the event: [WebSiteName(ChangedForObviousReasons)]Component Execution
failed for component[0x6] hr: 0x8004D00A
ProgID: Commerce.SQLItemADO.1
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]Distributed transaction error.

And within the W3SVC logs (IPs changed):

Now, some orders do come through, but most do not. This appears to
only be happening on two out of the four commerce sites, but I don't
see a correlation. Help on this is greatly appreciated! Thank you.
