I did a lexis-nexis search for a certain celebrity, and i found that
their was a photo of them in a recent edition of the ny times. i went
to the ny times webiste, but i can't find it? is there anywhere that
sell 'back issues' of old ny times newspapers. its not very old,
within the last week...any suggestions?

Who was the celebrity?  Perhaps we can find the photo for you, or at
least tell you how to find it.

the photo was of kimberly peirce. director of boys don't cry.

Are you sure that the photo was in a recent edition? -- how do you
know that fact?  What did the photo look like?  Do you remember
anything about the caption of the photo, or the text of the story that
accompanied the photo?

thanks for getting back to me again, sorry to have troubled you, but i
found out where i can get past issues of ny times sent to me. So i am
going to order from there.

to answer your questions, i knew it is in a recent issue, because it
was on lexis-nexis. thanks again for your help

I would suggest visiting your local library (or phoning libraries in
your area asking if they keep back issues of the New York Times).

Usually they have them at least a week after publication, and you
might even be able to get on a list to get the copy you need for
free... because the paper copies are often thrown out (libraries tend
to keep a microfilm version).

There are various online archives available, but I know there are
researchers out there that better know how to answer questions such as
this one. I will therefore release my lock and let someone else take
over. :)
