Whatever happened to Robin Lloyd? He was an excellent national
network television news reporter in the early '80's. The last I saw
him was in 1979 when he covered the independence of St. Vincent and
the Grenadines.

Hello.

It appears that Robin Lloyd has become a travel writer. His work has
been published in the Boston Globe newspaper.

"Robin Lloyd, a former reporter for NBC News, writes about travel."
From the bottom of the article:
"Treasure island: Snorkeling, sailing, maybe even pirate loot in a
Caribbean setting", 9/30/2001, Boston Globe
http://travel.boston.com/places/getaways/caribbean/093001_tortola.html

More articles by Robin Lloyd from the Boston Globe:

"A Lighthouse escape on a Maine Island"
By Robin Lloyd, Globe Correspondent

"Grenada: sun and spice
A Caribbean visit filled with simple pleasures
http://www.boston.com/globe/search/stories/travel/saint_georges_grenada.htm

The last reference that I could find to Robin Lloyd working as a TV
reporter was from February 1992.
"On the February 2 NBC Nightly News correspondent Robin Lloyd reported
on the El Salvador peace accords."

search strategy:
"robin lloyd", reporter
"robin lloyd", "nbc news"
"robin lloyd", travel

I hope this helps.
