I'm looking for something similar to Babelfish
(http://babelfish.altavista.com/) that can translate Turkish text to
English.  The two free translation sites that I know about (Babelfish
and Freetranslations.com) don't have Turkish.  Please only reply with
free sites; I've found plenty of paysites already.

I just wanted to mention (in case I didn't make it clear) that I'm
looking for a site that works similar to Babelfish (Altavista's
translator), Freetranslations.com, or Google's translator (translation
of full sentences, taking context into account), not just an online
dictionary for looking up individual words.

translator that fulfills all your requirements.  I am including the
links to a number of free Turkish-English online dictionaries as well

The Intertran translator is similar to Babelfish. It can translate
text from Turkish to English or from English to Turkish and it’s free.

InterTran

The translator is located at the bottom of the webpage. Choose your
language pair and enter your text. If you prefer you may enter a URL.


There are a few free online Turkish English language dictionaries that
may interest you as well.

I have just tried InterTran for an english to turkish translation. It
just translated every word into the turkish, and the resulting text
seems meaningless.

unfortunately the link to http://www.tranexp.com:2000/InterTran no
longer does translation :( it's now just a advert for their
translation products (which the former limk provided a demo of.
