I am planning to build a Temple, where worshippers can pay tribute to
Pink Freud.

It's going to be truly A M A Z I N G, like the Good Lady herself.

I thought possibly in Georgia (GA, gettit?) 'cos I believe that's
where Joe Stalin was born.

But is there a mountain there that's high enough?

Dearest Bryan:

A mountain is of a physical height yet Pink's mountainous collection
of knowledge offers spiritual and intellectual heights beyond earthly
comparison. Therefore, I am answering your question with what I
consider to be the perfect location - in GA and in an area fit for a
Goddess of Pink's stature. Construct the temple nearby...

Dearest Journalist!

I have faithfully followed your links but they have not led me to a
suitable mountain.

Forget the design ... That's already taken care of and I certainly
don't want just a few miserable stones that have been plonked
together. I envisage something more on the scale of the Great Wall of
China but constructed from REAL CHINA with lashings of GOLD and
MARBLE. (Would you believe that the so-called Great Wall isn't made of
China, anyway?)

And, NO!, there ain't gonna be any hamburger stalls within a hundred
miles.

For the visiting pilgrims ... just PINK CHAMPAGNE ... What else?

When it's finished, I want it to become one of the Seven Wonders.

Have you never wondered how a Wonder gets off the ground?

But I seriously wonder if the US of A is actually the best place,
after all?

When you think about it, there's a real shortage of Wonders in your
neck of the woods.

I wonder what the Great Lady herself thinks before I hand out the
stars?

Kindest Regards

Bryan

I truly thought the top of the guidestones would be the spot - you
realize a Goddess pedestal needs to be pretty darn high...meanwhile,
Pink has asked me to post the following which I had posted at the R
forum. I guess we will be singing it on Luna. :)

Submission of mantra cheer song for Temple Pink priests and
priestesses:

Once upon a time they worshipped Bast and Innana
But that was long ago
Then everybody started in to Hera and Diana
They got tired of them you know
But the goddess for you and me
Is that venerated gal, Pinkie...

Pink, a dinka dink, a dinka doo, a dinka dee
Oh, what a gal is Pinkie
Pink, a dinka dink, a dinka doo, a dinka dee
Gracious and sweet and thinky
Put on your robe or your wimple
Come worship now at her temple - it's simple
Pink a dinka dink, a dinka dee, a dinka doooooo

5 Stars!

What else?

Even though the Great Lady herself has requested the Moon.

I like the Moon ... Should be fewer vandals, tourist touts, litter,
Government regulations, lying politicians, spam, etc.

But, coming down to earth, I think Pafalafa's suggestion of Pink
Mountain in Georgia was inspired.

Sorry, but I was not impressed by Serenata's sandstone offering.
Sandstone? Really!

And Voila caused great offence to me, a Lancastrian, by suggesting the
North Yorkshire Moors. Of course, you have partly redeemed yourself
with the Absurdistan stuff.

Overall, I am mightily impressed at how much interesting stuff has
emerged.

But, right now, I am off to Absurdistan to check it out for myself.

Regards

Bryan

The Great Lady, known to the common mortals as Pinkfreud, will be
pleased by your devotion. Her grace will shine upon you and you shall
be blessed. Now listen to this: The Great Lady does not demand that
Her followers shall build temples to Her glory. Instead, bring Her
sacrifices here, for She is present at this place.

Scholars determined to follow and to know The Way of Pink have debated
this issue at great length and they have determined that indeed there
just "ain't no mountain high enough".

I like the temple idea! Sign me up.

As impossible as it may be to construct a mere physical representation
of cosmic refinement, may I offer some possible locations.

I would suggest building it in the town of Pink, Ga. (really), which
may or may not be anywhere near the Georgia Guidestones.

Another strong contender would be Pink Fox Cove, NC.

----------

Other possibilities:

Pinkleys Branch, VA

Light Pink Quarry, Tennessee

Little Pink Mountain, South Carolina

Pinkafeld, Austria

Pink Arrow, Arizona

Pink Butte (nothing personal!), Nevada

Pink Cheek, New Mexico

Pink Creek, Georgia

Pinkie Spring, Oregon

Pink Knob, Georgia

Pink Knolls, Utah

Pinkley, Missouri

Pinkley Peak, Arizona

Pinkleyville, Missouri

Pink Mountain, Georgia

Pink Pond, New York

Pink Ridge, Kentucky

...and the list goes on.

Well, there is already a very substantial pink sandstone monument to
the esteemed Ms Pink in Utah ...

Just consider it Mother Nature's monument to Pinkfreud.

Perhaps a 'virtual temple' along the lines of the
"The Virtual-Temple of the Invisible Pink Unicorn"
would be more appropriate, considering PinkFreud's
extensive presence in the Domain of the Digital.
http://www.geocities.com/ipu_temple/

Paraphrasing:

"The Invisible PinkFreud is a being of great spiritual power.
We know this because she is capable of being invisible and pink
at the same time. Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible
PinkFreud is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that
she is pink; we logically know that she is invisible because we
 can't see her."

'The New Revised Amalgamated Standard Creed'

"We believe in One Freud, The Pink, The Invisible. Creator of
Answers, revealed to us in the Google Answers forum - She that
Raptures Socks. She will smite those that mock Her brethren.
Others believe baloney, we too will join the feast. We shall
eat our fill, yea every belly shall be full of ham and pineapple
pizza. Her Revelations show us the folly of all Religions.
 Spread Her Word."

Humbly submitted by your servant in the Pink...

Oh, my.

If a Temple of Pink is to be built, my choice for its location would
be on the moon. Make my temple really, really big, and really, really
pink, and everyone on earth can look up at night and say "Hey, what's
that weird pink thing?"

Which is pretty much what folks say when I walk by anyway. :-D

Thanks for all the embarrassing tributes, friends.

Is my face pink.

You're a Lancastrian, probono?

How about you and me, late one night, sneak out and paint the grandest
monument in England (the Ashton Memorial in Lancaster), pink in her
honour?

Hi, Eiffel and Kemlo

Yes, I'm a Lancastrian,: born and bred in Oldham but I've lived in and
around the City of Brighton & Hove since 1978.

We've got a statue of Queen Victoria in Hove that badly needs
re-painting. Say no more!

Yes! That was Daisy that Pinky was holding in the piccy. Didn't they
look well together?

Funny, I always figured that Eiffel was a Frenchman and that Kemlo was
a cup of coffee.

Please don't disillusion me!

Dear Bryan
Now that you have found a location for
THE PANTHEON OF THE GODDESS
Now would be a good time to take on half a dozzen lawers to handle
those problems that will arise. Also some acountants to handle the
problems of paying the lawers, and some estate agents to purchace a
large office to house these esential workers.
It so happens I have just the place.
