I would like to answer your question, but before I do, I'd like to
establish for certain that you are asking for information about
"chelation" and "oral chelation treatment," which is said to reduce
heart disease and other ailments by eliminating toxic metals from the
body.

Is this what you need?

Hello rights-ga,
I have divided your question about Oral & EDTA Chelation into
following heads. I hope you find the information useful..

*** Chemical Composition
A crystalline acid, C10H16N2O8, that acts as a strong chelating agent.
The sodium salt of EDTA is used as an antidote for metal poisoning, an
anticoagulant, and an ingredient in a variety of industrial reagents.

*** Information.
1.	How Does Chelation Work?
Chelation comes from the Greek word "claw," meaning "to grab," and
that's exactly what chelating agents do. Chelating agents like EDTA
travel through the bloodstream "grabbing" on to minerals and metals,
such as calcium, lead, mercury, cadmium, copper, aluminum and iron,
binding them, removing them from the bloodstream, and delivering them
to the kidneys, which excrete them in the urine. Once bound by a
chelating agent, the minerals are unable to react in undesirable ways.
The primary use of chelation therapy today is in the prevention and
treatment of occlusive vascular disease, including atherosclerosis,
coronary heart disease, and
stroke…..[http://www.life-enhancement.com/article_template.asp?CustomerID=167411&ACBSessionID=45ebZ99Lru8ldfo8fQGw&SID=1&ID=218]

3.	The article from Gordon Research Institute, which has done
extensive research EDTA, titled “Oral Chelation - Hoax or Heart
Protector?” answers many questions about the usage of Chelation.

4.	WORD OF CAUTION: According to some doctors prolonged usage of Oral
Chamelion can cause some complications. Dr. Elmer M. Cranton, M.D.
says in his article. Says Dr. Elmer”… Intravenous EDTA chelation
therapy has been proven safe, effective and inexpensive as a treatment
for coronary heart disease, atherosclerosis and other age-related
diseases. Dozens of scientific studies spanning 50 years prove that
intravenous EDTA safely increases blood flow and alleviates symptoms
of cardiovascular disease. There are no scientific studies of any kind
showing similar benefit using EDTA by mouth. And there’s good reason
to believe that prolonged use of high-dose oral EDTA is harmful….”

*** It is highly recommended to consult a doctor before administering
the Chelation therapy.
“There are some CERTIFICATION OF ACAM PHYSICIANS ADMINISTERING EDTA

therapy, a medical procedure involving intravenous infusion of a
man-made amino acid (ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid), to treat
atherosclerosis and other chronic degenerative diseases. The American
Board of Chelation Therapy in Chicago, Illinois provides two levels of
certification for physicians who have met the criteria listed below:
