I would like to purchase a new release by a Hungarian electronic music
artist named "Zagar", but am unable to locate it in the usual places.
Even the unusual places have been of no help.

For someone with a bit more time or a knowledge of Uralic languages
this should be a no-brainer. Here is what I know:

1. The band has a web site at www.zagar.hu
2. The CD was released in Feb 2003
3. At least one of the main band members has also appeared on CDs by
Yonderboi, which has better US distribution. I contacted the label
(Mole Listening Pearls) but have not heard back yet.

My expectations of an answer are:

1. A concrete way to purchase this CD, such as a link to an online
site with the item or a phone number of an english-speaking retailer
that will take a phone order for them item.

2. A correct answer will not require me to do more investigation (ie:
"here's the mailing address of the US company that promotes the
artist", etc.)

3. A correct answer will not require me to speak Hungarian or any
other foreign language.

I know the above sounds silly, but these were the specific roadblocks
I encountered that caused me to post this question! The answer may
well be sitting there for the picking on the google results for
someone who speaks Hungarian!

I’ve located an online store and verified that they will ship to
foreign delivery addresses as long as the payment is by credit card.
The cost of the CD is 3705 Forints and the shipping by air mail to a
US address is 5500 Forints. Total 9205 Forints converts to
approximately $43.

2. A correct answer will not require me to do more investigation (ie:

Thanks for your great work on my question. As long as the alternate
source you mention is legitimate (ie: no illegal copies/CDRs) so the
artist doesn't get ripped off, it sounds like it would be preferable.

If the alternate source doesn't work out, the online site is
satisfactory as well.

I located the same Hungarian online stores where this CD is available
as shown by carlar-ga. I also read some of the Hungarian articles
about the sensation this album and artist are causing. I also noted
that the CD is released under the UCMG label. I looked up their
Website and discovered the Hungarian contact information. I wrote to
Laszlo Szell and asked where I could get the CD in the US. He
confirmed that it’s not available yet and indicated that he would help
me get a CD. He was very interested in finding out how I learned about
it. I believe that if you contact him directly and tell him your
story, he will give you the same opportunity.
