I am looking for rental accommodation for a friend in Baraboo,
Wisconsin.  Ideally they would like a family home for a period of 2/3
years.  Where can I find a list of adverts or agents for such things?

If you're not in the Madison/Baraboo area, the easiest way to
accomplish what you want is to pick two or three real estate agents in
that area, tell them what you're looking for, and then start to get
down to the one that you find the easiest to work with after your
initial inquiry.

A simple search using the term "real estate agents Baraboo" (without
the quotation marks) produces a decent listing here:

Click on some of the links, and if someone looks like they'd be
helpful, contact them via email, and you can get the ball rolling. I
think you'll "know" the person you want to work with by the response
you get.

The Baraboo newspaper, "Baraboo Republic" also has a site online. It
appears that Central Wisconsin Newspapers, Inc., publishes several
newspapers for the areas around there; but they do have a classified
ad section, you can look through there, too, to see if there is an ad
for a rental that appeals to you and contact the agent or company in
the ad.

Lastly, Madison's newspaper, the Wisconsin State Journal, is online
with rentals, including in the Baraboo area, in its classified
section. There also three articles at the bottom of the page which may
be of help to you or your friend - definitely an advantage to someone
looking for a rental in the area.

Thanks.  Didn't actually have any adverts for houses in Baraboo, but
did give us some idea - we can keep returning to them, to look.
