This is an easy one from Roger. "A walk in the park" About 3 months
ago I purchased an Irish Direct Mailing List from a List Broker in
Germany. I have lost all my email records to and from him but want to
do more business with him. I will immediately recognize his name
and/or website once I see it again. I think (only think) part of his
name might have been "Faust" and/or part of his name may have been
"gamble/hamble/famble" That is there could have been a "amble" in part
of the name. He should be relatively easy to track down for you
ga-guys&gals. First one that does gets a good rating and a cuppla
swigs of of virtual Aussie Chardonay.
So go for it and let me know if you find him or need more info from
me. Thanks from: Roger

Dear bwll77,

Usually, Google Answers Researcher are not allowed to post "trial
answers" in Clarification Requests. In your case, however, I don't see
a better way to find outh whether the list broker I found is the one
you are looking for.

Please let me know if this German mailing list broker website looks
familiar to you:
http://www.faust-information.com/

The company is "Faust Information" in Düsseldorf.

Best regards,

P.S. Could the "GmbH" (German pendant to "Ltd.") in the business' full
name "Faust Information GmbH" be what you vaguely remember as
"gamble"?

Thanks scriptor. Have one one me. At least the old grey matter (of
mine) is functioning in the background. I had the "faust" part right
and "amble" was not too far off either. I'll give myself a pat on the
head and you a pat on the back. Thanks again and Cheers from: Roger

Somehow I would expect that a list broker called "Faust Information"
might deal in lists of human souls. ;-)

Hi Pinky, noticed your comment (which has gone right over my aged
head)but thought I'd say g'day anyway. You can see by my virtual
presence I here that I arrived in Dublin ok. For obvious reasons I
took a very wide berth of my Hong Kong "Head Office". It's only a
little hole in the wall of one of those big HK Skyscrapers; but it
seems like it one little hole I will not be crawling into for some
time to come! Anyway now I know you are "on-duty" I'll see if I cant
dream up some sort of cat-question to ask a sweet young chick like
you. And dont tell me ya not a sweet young chick. Remember I've seen
that red headed pic of you. Seriously Pink are you the local 'expert'
with photoshop 6. Reason I ask is I could probably swing some
interesting questions your way. And are you able to do photo-graphic
manipulations (and the like) as answers to questions. Like If I posed
a specific question to you that said " Where do I find a photo of me
standing next to (say) "Marrilon" Munro. Could you create such a work
of art and post it as an answer for me. Is that sort of thing possible
and permissable within the framework of ga?? And how would we go about
that?? Thanks Pink from Roger

Roger,

I can certainly create a photo composite showing you standing next to
the celebrity of your choice. All I'd need would be a fairly good
photo of you, which you could post on a public online site.

You might want to take a look at a previous question where I put a
young fellow alongside the Pope so that he could impress his
girlfriend (the young fellow's girlfriend, not the Pope's girlfriend):

And here's one where, by way of instruction, I set George W. Bush down
amongst some of Hugh Hefner's Playmates:

The ultimate in Photo-Chop artistry, of course, is to put one person's
head on another person's body:

If you'd like me to do a custom job for you, just post a question
marked "For pinkfreud-ga" with the details of what you'd like, and
I'll be tickled pink to put on my artist's cap and get started!
