I'm trying to find information on Part Number 16-0965-01 for a Cisco Memory Flash for a Cisco 2600 Router. There is nothing out there but one site that lists this as mem2600-8u16fs=, which means it is 16MB flash, but I'm almost sure it is not correct. Trying to get more answers. |

Howdy routerx! According to the Cisco Systems, Inc. "Cisco 2600 Series Multiservice Platforms - Maintaining the Router" web page: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps259/products_installation_guide_chapter09186a008007e026.html Within the "Replacing Flash Memory" section. http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps259/products_installation_guide_chapter09186a008007e026.html#xtocid13 There is a chart that indicates the 16-0965-xx is a 8MB 5v (Flash Memory) SIMM. http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps259/products_installation_guide_chapter09186a008007e026.html#60996 Table B-7: 5V SIMM Module Part Numbers Memory Size 5V SIMMs 8 MB 16-0965-xx 16 MB 16-1378-xx 32 MB 16-1745-xx Information on replacing, flashing, etc. the above flash memory can be found at the above web page. Search Strategy: Went to the Cisco Systems, Inc. website and did a search (the search box in the upper right hand section of the their site at: http://www.cisco.com ) on 16-0965 as the keyword. There are two results for the search which are essentially the same information. If you need any clarifcation, feel free to ask. Looking Forward, denco-ga |
