I'm looking for a way to use mouse look in the fashion of 3d shooters
in this game. Moving the mouse up would tilt the screen up, down-down,
left would rotate the view left, right-right.

Without Serious hacking to the source code of this game engine it is
not possible in it's current state. Even though the game is a 3d game
like Quake/etc. the game does not allow for changing of views in the
manner you have described.
