okay, back in the 70's there was a kid's game that was made up of 2"square flat tiles. they were transparent primary colored tiles with notches on each side to insert into each other. you could build all sorts of abstract structures out of the whole set. i need to know the name of this toy and the maker.

Hello Nikkig, Thank you for your positive response to my clarification request indicating that the information I located would interest you. The name of the toy you are referring to is Playplax Squares. You can view a picture of Playplax Squares and its box at the Time Warp Toys Collectibles website: http://www.timewarptoys.com/playplax.jpg There was also a British version of this toy called Playplax. This building toy was made by the English toy company James Galt and Co. You may view a picture of Playplax at the Virtual Toychest website: http://www.virtualtoychest.com/playplax/playplax.html Search Criteria: vintage building toy vintage plastic building set squares playplax squares I hope the above information meet your needs. But if not, just make a Request for Clarification, and let me know how else I can be of service before rating my answer and closing the question. Best Regards, Bobbie7-ga
