We have a system that collects data from a client site. We then
forward this data to a web server where it is stored in a database.
Secure access via username and password and a SSL certificate allow
authorised users to access this data. A business intelligence /
analytical model runs on the server-end interpreting the data and
presents unique reporting options to these users. The value of the
data lies in the history that is collected and stored.

The question is: We are entering the US market with this unique
concept. Our market research shows that we are our monthly fee is too
high for this service (taking into account we cover the costs of
internet connectivity on the client-side, hosting of the data,
development of the analytical model and the reporting interfaces).

We want to know what is the scope of charges for various web based
services in the US and what could the market accept. As to the data
and the type of client we have - I cannot disclose that due to
confidentiality.

Take for example somebody signing up for Lycos Plus is 25 USD a year,
giving them extra mail disk space and Pop3 access to their web mail.
Signing up a website for a year is 99 USD. Having a dialup in Nevada
is 8.50 USD / month. I need to know what other unique, web based,
subscription type services are out there and what is the monthly fee.
Varying the complexity and confidentiality of the data services should
increase the monthly cost. Taking into account we are collecting,
storing, analysing and presenting this data to the user with some sort
of business intelligence applied to the data.

Ideally what I would like to know is:
5 USD p.m. gets the equivalent of, including the following services

25 USD p.m. gets the equivalent of, including the following services

50 USD p.m. gets the equivalent of, including the following services
