What are the geographical and cultural reasons for the spatial
distribution of the worlds major religions (not including sects or
cults).  Is there a relationship between religions and languages (not
language families).  Is there a printable map showing this
relationship (or lack of)?

I am trying to compare the current spatial distribution globally of
religions and languages in a geographical sence.  While I have some
decent info on the spatial patterns of languages, I need some good
info on religions and any links between the two.  Therfore, any info
would be good, but geographical info on the current situation would be
better.
