If a 4-stroke medium-speed diesel engine is designed to run on
distillate fuel (i.e. diesel oil) what modifications does it it need
so it can be run on residual heavy fuel?

Things to consider include:
increase in fuel consumption
effect on fuel injectors
timing of engine
burning on piston crown
the exhaust valve may now have to be rotated
....etc

Hi Shiv,
regarding ALPHA system files, I found that files: Alpha1, Alpha2 and
Alpha 5 are identical. I cannot wait to get an answer for the
